Chicago based sportscaster Daryl Hawks was found dead in his Atlanta hotel room this morning. The 38-year-old was in town to cover Game 6 of the Bulls vs Hawks game for NBC owned WMAQ Channel 5.

The former Marine and three-time Emmy winner’s body was discovered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning by hotel employees after he missed his wake-up call. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
