Taylor Swift has been named 2010 Entertainer of the Year by Entertainment Weekly.
The country singer has sold out venue after venue, won four Grammy awards and in one week sold over one million copies of her album Speak Now. Taylor also earned a standing O after her performance at the 2010 Country Music Awards.
Swift is involved in a budding romance with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. She has been coy about it but Ellen DeGeneres managed to get to the heart of the matter recently.
Dane Cook serenaded the country singer on the Tonight Show last week. He did so after removing his shirt to reveal a significantly large Taylor Swift tattoo.
In the article on newsstands Friday, the 20-year-old singer talks about her music and states that ‘who she writes about’ is pure speculation: “The fact is, I haven’t ever confirmed that any song is about any particular person.”
The Entertainer of the Year issue also highlights Katy Perry, James Franco, Kanye West, Willow Smith and Jaden Smith.
