For anyone that watched Jersey Shore last week and saw the Skins USA preview, you know what I’m about to talk about.
For those who do not know what Skins is, the trailer is posted below. The show is about nine teens living in the city who are “stumbling through the minefield of adolescence”.
Some watchers of the original UK television show, set in Bristol, England, that is now going onto it’s fifth series, the preview to the show seems extremely similar.
To me, I thought it was going to be the same, even a few of the names are the exact same as the cast of the first series of the UK show.
One of the producers decided to get this straight in a recent videolog where he answers questions that many fans were dying to know.
He mentioned that the storyline seems similar from just watching the trailer, but in actuality it will be quite different.
He also said that the team does plan on doing what they did with the original show and have a new cast every two years since the show is based on the last two years of high school, or in England, the two years of college.
