Chris Brown’s past has come back to haunt him and unfortunately it will also be affecting his fans. British officials denied Breezy a work visa, forcing him to cancel the European leg of his tour. The reason cited was the assault against his ex- girlfriend Rihanna.

Barbara Woodward of the UK border agency’s international group explained, “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns. Each application to enter the UK is considered on its individual merit.”

The promoter of the tour announced the cancellation, citing unforeseen circumstances. Fans were urged to hold on to their tickets, as they are trying to reschedule the canceled dates.

Brown took to his Twitter page to vent: “U ever feel like the storm clouds are too thick for any sunshine to get through? Think ima go away!!!!”

The young pop star is currently serving out 5 years probation and 1,400 hours in “labor-oriented service” after pleading guilty to assault.
