Tiger Woods sat down for an exclusive interview with Tom Rinaldi of ESPN News, with just two weeks to go before making his first PGA appearance of the year at the Masters in Augusta on April 8.
The hush-hush one-on-one discussion will air at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday night, March 21. The news was kept quiet but has now leaked — presumably in an orchestrated move to boast ratings and steal some thunder away from a competitor.
A second interview will air at the same time on The Golf Channel. That interview was conducted by Kelly Tilghman this morning and was a no-holds-barred question session. Tiger answered some, declined others and was reportedly cordial throughout. The 6 minute interview featured 13 questions and, finally, some answers.
When asked about what his father would think of him, he said: “He’d be very disappointed in me. We’d have numerous long talks and that’s one of the things I miss. I wish I could have had his guidance through all this, to have him help straighten me up. I know he would have done it.”
Earlier this week porn star Joslyn James published salacious text messages that Tiger reportedly sent to her during their affair.
