Barack Obama made history, yet again, when he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The talk show host called the event “the most exciting show of my life.”
Leno remarked before Obama took the guest chair, “People think it’s amazing that the president would take the time to leave Washington DC and fly 3000 miles to come to California. But you know, that is something that happens to alot of guys when their mother-in-law moves in with them.”
He also quipped, “We were also going to have V.P. Joe Biden come out and say a few words, but you know, it’s only an hour show.”
Leno asked the president about the status of a new pet. Obama replied, “They say if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.” The much anticipated canine will join the family in early April.
