We smell a lawsuit brewing here! Former actor turned rapper Joaquin Phoenix has received anything but good press since he decided to make a jump in careers. His latest fiasco? Joaquin jumped off stage at a gig he was performing at last night at Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel and went after a heckler.
The whole scene was caught on tape, including the singer calling the guy explicit names and rambling on that he still has a million in the bank and wanting to know what the heckler has.
Thank goodness for the security. They had to restrain Phoenix and drag away him away.
Why was the crowd so anxious? Reports are saying that the “rapper” made guests wait for four hours for his arrival and then once he got there, at 2 a.m., he mumbled the words to his songs over a backing track.
Phoenix’ brother in-law is Casey Affleck and he is videoing the ex-actors career change for a documentary. He has gotten footage of the many disasters of Joaquin, including his appearance on David Letterman that you can view here.
Recently rapper 50 Cent told the music world that he would like to mentor Joaquin. Maybe it’s time his camp gets him a little help from someone, anyone!
