The grandfather of the Suleman octuplets, Ed Doud, has reportedly plunked down a sizable down payment on a $550,000 home that he has purchased for his daughter Nadya Suleman. The mother of six youngsters and eight preemie babies will soon be moving her brood to the new digs in La Habra, California.

Angels in Waiting will be caring for the octuplets when they are released from the hospital. An army of trained nurses, specializing in neonatal intensive care, will be working around the clock in groups of 4-5 per shift. The cost, estimated at $125,000 per month will be absorbed by the organization. They have agreed to provide the charitable support for at least six months.

The new home, in Doud’s name, has four bedrooms, three bathroom and has a total of 2,583 square feet of living space. According to Nadya, the den is going to be used as a nursery with four cribs, each holding two babies. At least four of the octuplets are ready to be released, says People magazine, and they will come home two at a time when the family is able to move into the new space.

Two of the babies came home on Tuesday night, March 17th. Check out photos and video here.
