Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are getting ready to welcome their first baby. That involves buying baby clothes. Urban told a reporter about a few favorite baby items that have been purchased by the couple. One is a tie-dyed jumpsuit and the other, a particular favorite of the couple, is a t-shirt that says ‘I Crawl the Line‘.
The country singing star was a surprise performer on Friday night at the CMA Music Fest at LP Field in Nashville. Taylor Swift (check out her brilliant ‘Rain’ performance HERE) and Kellie Pickler introduced the mystery guest by telling the ladies in the audience that “he’s very good looking”. Urban made the night of one fan when he signed his own guitar and handed it over to an unsuspecting concert goer as he made his way through the crowd.
Urban is apparently sensitive to the pressing economic issues of the day. He told the crowd of country fans:
I want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has coughed up the most outrageous amount of money per gallon to get gas to come to this festival this year. We’re gonna give you a show worth seven bucks a gallon, so you’re making three bucks right there.”
Backstage Urban, who has battled addiction issues, was asked if Nicole and the new baby would be joining him on tour. He had this to say:
I love having her with me when I tour, but at the same time, it’s work. You don’t want to ask too much of your family. And as for bringing baby on the road, we’ll just have to see what works for us.”
