Is a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles project in the works?
Reports say Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman is in negotiations to direct an upcoming live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot for Paramount.
Liebesman’s resume includes Darkness Falls and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning … so expect a darker chapter from the Green Machine, apparently.
Other details that have been revealed on the TMNT reboot thus far:
- Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form will be producing the movie
- Alias writers Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec are penning the script
- TMNT will now stand for The Middle-aged Ninja Turtles (kidding)
- Vanilla Ice will have a rapping cameo again (also kidding)
