Hogwart’s Headmaster Albus Dumbledore

Harry Potter creator, J.K. Rowling, has outed Hogwarts Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore.

Speaking at Carnegie Hall Friday night, Rowling was asked by an audience member if Dumbledore finds true love.

“Dumbledore is gay,” responded Rowling to the young fan.

The author went on to say that Dumbledore’s great love was rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated in a battle between good and bad wizards,” adding “That love was Dumbledore’s great tragedy.”

“Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” she said.

The audience reportedly fell silent after the admission — then erupted into applause.

Ah the tragedy of fictional love. Welcome out of the closet Dumbledore.
