Nick Lachey recently celebrated his birthday with Vanessa Minnillo in Las Vegas. The 34 year old acknowledges that 2007 has been a rebuilding year for him following his breakup and divorce from Jessica Simpson.
Lachey says that he has learned and grown from the difficult experience. He believes that heartbreak can be a powerful tool to draw from.
The positive news is that he feels regenerated with his music, the studio and life in general. He is currently working on a new album that he hopes to release in 2008.
