Former ABBA drummer, Ola Brunkert, was found dead in the garden of his home on the Spanish island of Mallorca after a freak accident.

A neighbor found the body Sunday evening. 62-year-old Ola Brunkert fell and hit his head on a glass door in his dining room, shattering the glass and fatally cutting his throat. He wrapped a towel around his neck and left the house to seek help, collapsing in the garden.

An autopsy has confirmed the death was an accident.

According to ABBA’s official website, Ola and bass player Rutger Gunnarsson are probably the only musicians, along with regular members Agnetha Faltskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson to appear on all ABBA albums. He toured with the band in 1977, 1979 and 1980.

Abba was one of the most successful bands of all time, with album sales of 370 million.
