The Spice Girls‘ double decker bus that was used in the 1997 movie “Spice World” was sold on Ebay.

The auction ended on October 11, and the winning bid was 3600.00 British pounds.

This is the bus used in the 1997 film SPICEWORLD, THE MOVIE.

Make/model: BRISTOL VRT (SL3)

First Year of Registration: 1978

The bus was made into good running order last year and the bus was on display at the World Scout Jamboree last year. The bus is sold with full mechanical preparation and new Ministry of Transport test certificate (class V). The interior is largely clear and can be readied for any kind of interior adaptation or restoration to passenger carrying format.

Originally built to the order of the East Midlands company for services in Nottinghamshire, this bus was eventually acquired for use as a film prop in the SPICE GIRLS film, being driven by Meat Loaf. The interior view seen in the film were all recorded in a studio set; only the front entrance and the outside of the bus were used and changed for the filming . The vehicle was give to the Trust by the film company in 1989. It is hope to restore this bus and present inside the lower deck, a small tribute to the famous five”.

The winning bidder, mgmve61, is located in the United States and joined Ebay on October 8.
