Ivanka Trump is a 27 year old former model and Wharton Business School grad who is now a vice president of real estate and acquisitions in the Trump organization, and in all likelihood, is Donald Trump‘s business heir. The beautiful blonde plans to marry Jewish businessman Jared Kushner, head of the prestigious New York Observer.
The 27 year old son of another wealthy real estate tycoon Charles Kushner, Jared will wed Ivanka on October 25, 2009. In anticipation of the ceremony that is likely the be ‘the wedding of the season’ in New York circles, Donald’s daughter is taking classes at the Kehilath Jeshurun Synagogue in Manhattan to facilitate her conversion to Judaism.
The wedding, planned by Preston Bailey, will take place at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. The 500 guests will see Ivanka walk down the aisle in a Vera Wang gown, reportedly inspired by the late Grace Kelly.
UPDATE July 16, 2009: Ivanka Trump headed straight to her Twitter page this morning to make an announcement. She said, “I got engaged last night….truly the happiest day of my life!!!”
What does the Donald think? He told Us Weekly, ” I’m very happy about it. They make a magnificent couple.”
