It pays big time for Elisabeth Hasselbeck to complain on The View. After not receiving her annual invitation to be a guest at the White House for their Christmas party, Elisabeth made her disappointment known by saying, “Maybe I didn’t do enough for the Republican party this year.”
Somebody must have been watching the women because she later received a call from the White House, according to the morning talk show’s executive publicity director, Karl T. Nilsson.
“The President’s office apologized and explained that she and her husband were indeed invited to the White House for Christmas and were sorry that it didn’t arrive. It was simply an oversight.”
Elizabeth spent the campaign season backing the Republican party and Sarah Palin, on and off The View. Hasselbeck went on the road and introduced Palin at a handful of Florida rallies.
