Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum performed “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” on NBC’s Today Show on Christmas Eve.

The country music group, who released their debut album seven months ago, scored “Best New Artist” honors at both the 2008 Country Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards, and they are nominated for two Grammy Awards.

The trio – Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, formed the group while hanging out together in the Nashville area in the summer of 2006. Their sound is a mix of “country, 1960s R&B soulfulness and the heart-on-the-sleeve openness of 1970s singer-songwriters, all presented with a razor-sharp contemporary edge.”
