Last night before pop star Britney Spears took the stage at the America Airlines Arena she made a stop at the Miami Childrens Hospital to visit 40 sick children.
Cristene Martinez, a spokeswoman for the hospital, said that Britney’s visit was a great distraction for the ailing children and that she was kind enough to sign autographs and have photos taken.
Spears must have been impressed with the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Program because she made a donation to the group. The program has medically trained professionals who dress up in clown costumes and visit the patients on a regular basis.
