Two weeks ago, Brad Paisley skipped the Academy of Country Music Awards because his beautiful wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley was due to give birth to the couple’s second child. It turns out the new baby wasn’t in a big hurry. The couple welcomed their new son on Friday, April 17, 2009 in Nashville.
A spokesman for the couple indicates that mother and baby are doing very well. The couple named their new son Jasper Warren Paisley. His middle name is in honor of Brad’s grandfather, who bought the country singer his first guitar and encouraged him to play.
Paisley is the reigning ACM and CMA Top Male Vocalist. His wife is best known for her role on According to Jim. The couple’s first son is two year old William Huckleberry but his mom and dad call him Huck for short.
