Happy Earth Day! Have you been thinking of taking the big plunge to go green? Many stars have used their voices to get the message out on eco-friendly ways of living that will improve the environment.
Because April 22 is Earth Day, Bebo.com and Greendaily.com have put together a reader survey to choose the greenest celebrities on the planet. Mariah Carey and John Travolta were ranked among the worst offenders. John, of course, is faulted for his big plane that omits 800 tons of carbon each year because of his travels. As for Mariah, she gets fit with a personal trainer, who she regularly flies in from the Caribbean.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Oprah Winfrey were the greenest celebrities around while Brad Pitt, Bono, Ed Begley Jr., Angelina Jolie, Heather Mills, Gwyneth Paltrow and Hayden Panettiere were also high on the list.
Here are a few ideas for making our world a little greener today:

- Ride Your Bike Instead of Driving
- Collect Aluminum Cans
- Donate Toys to a Worthy Cause
- Don’t Buy Aerosol’s
- Plant a Tree
- Recycle Everything
