Former Prison Break star Lane Garrison has been in real life prison since October 2007 for vehicular manslaughter. It looks like he will get an early release this week for good behavior from the Richard J. Donovan correctional facility in San Diego, California. His original sentence was for 40 months.

He was incarcerated for causing the death of 17 year old Vahagn Setian, who was a passenger in Lane’s car. Two fifteen years old girls who were also seriously injured after getting a ride from Garrison after a party.

Lane’s childhood friend, country singer Jessica Simpson, plans to send a car to pick him up from prison. For security reasons, Jessica has not visited her friend but has stayed in contact throughout his sentence.

Lane, 28, lived with the Simpson family for a year when he was in high school and then headed to California to become an actor. He is still facing civil lawsuits that have been filed by the Setian family.
