It was elimination night on Dancing with the Stars. The popular ABC hit celebrity dance competition was down to just six couples, with only a few weeks until the finale, where one couple will be crowned champions.
In a surprising twist of fate, one of the top competitors, Melissa Rycroft injured a rib and was unable to perform during Monday night’s competition. She was judged solely on an earlier rehearsal and ended up with the lowest score of the night.
Perhaps the weakest celebrity dancer, rodeo star Ty Murray had a middle of the road performance this week and was not up for elimination. Check out all of Monday night’s performances here.
Left standing for a suspenseful few minutes were Chuck Wicks & Julianne Hough alongside a teary eyed Melissa and her dance pro partner Tony Dovolani. In the end it was country singer Wicks and his fiance who took the floor for the final dance.
