Britney Spears was performing her Circus tour at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on Saturday May 2, 2009. As things were wrapping up, she took the stage to do an encore performance of Womanizer. Dressed in her policeman’s uniform and wielding a night stick, she was taken aback by an uninvited visitor on stage.
Twenty year old Kyle King jumped over a security barrier and charged Britney on stage in what looked like an attempt to bust a move with the pop star. His actions causing her to scream frantically until her backup dancers and arena security subdued the intruder and escorted him from the stage and into the arms of local Connecticut police.
King was charged with breach of peace and interfering with police. According to TMZ, a police officer told them the suspect had definitely been drinking and was very uncooperative. The young reveler was released on $250 bond early Sunday and is scheduled to appear before a judge in Norwich Superior Court on June 18.
In another interesting incident, Brit recently lost her hair extension while performing a hot number with one of her dancers.
