Tyra Banks marked the premiere of her fifth season by declaring Tuesday, September 8 “National Real Hair Day.” The Emmy-winning talk show host decided it was time to get real and show her television viewers what she looks like under all of her glamorous wigs.
She took to her Twitter page last week and ‘tweeted’ prior to the show, “no ponytails, no ballet bun head, hair will be out and free!”
The television celeb decided that women everywhere should own and rock what they’ve got so she shed her signature lace-front wig and extensions and revealed her shoulder length hair for the first time.
