Lorenzo Lamas and his family appeared Sunday night in the debut episode of their new reality show Leave it to Lamas on E! The former Falcon Crest and Renegade star is the son of actor Fernando Lamas and actress Arlene Dahl.
In the first episode we learn that daughter Shayne is trying to reunite brother A.J. with his estranged father. We are told that their current dynamic is strained because Lorenzo believes that son A.J. slept with his then-wife, former Playboy model Shauna Sand when he was an impressionable 18-year-old. The family attempts to make things good between the pair, but some of that story line gets minimized by the over the top antics of other family members.
Michele Smith is one of Lorenzo’s ex-wives and is mom to Shayne, A.J. and Dakota. She is a former showbiz publicist and is the quintessential empty-nester who really gets into being meddlesome and intense.
Dakota Pike is the beautiful raven-haired half-sister and roommate to Shayne and A.J. The 19-year-old has done some acting and modeling–and won her first beauty pageant at age two-and-a-half. She describes herself as a jock.
Shayne Dahl Lamas is hungry for the spotlight. She appeared on General Hospital and then went on to win a marriage proposal from Matt Grant on the ABC reality show The Bachelor: London Calling. They called off the engagement after a few months. The 23-year-old is single and looking for love.
AJ Lamas is 25-years-old and is a notorious ladies man. He is best known for his roles on As the World Turns and American Family and has appeared in a couple of feature films. He models, plays some golf and is into tae kwon do.
