Country singing sensation Carrie Underwood will launch Play On, her third album, in New York City on Tuesday, November 3. The 26-year-old American Idol winner released one of the album singles, Cowboy Casanova, on September 14 – see video below.

Underwood has a full schedule planned for launch week. She appeared on David Letterman‘s show on Monday night, and will perform on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning in Lincoln Center. She will cap off the week with a Wednesday November 5 appearance on Regis and Kelly.

Underwood’s first album, Some Hearts, was released in 2005 and was certified seven times platinum. Her second album, Carnival Ride, was released in October 2007 and sold 2.9 million copies.
