The hit ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars cast off yet another celebrity contestant on Tuesday night, leaving three couples who will compete next week in the DWTS Final Round. The eliminated couple was a stunning shock because of their consistently high scores.
It was assumed that Mya & Dmitry Chaplin and Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough would fly through to the finals. After performing three dance numbers during Monday night’s show, it seemed clear that the final week would be a head-to-head competition between these dynamic partners.
The bottom two couples, Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson and Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amstel, had continued to remain viable because of their significant fan bases. Both celebrities clearly have won the hearts of the nation.
Donny faltered with two of his three performances last night, while Kelly seemed to be gaining confidence and momentum. According to the judges, this was her most consistent week of the competition.
In a shocking twist, Joanna Krupa was eliminated. Going on to dance in the finals will be Mya, Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne.
