After 13 years as a co-anchor on Access Hollywood, broadcast journalist Nancy O’Dell has decided to pack it in and find something less sensational. According to People magazine, O’Dell has grown disenchanted by the direction the show has taken in recent months and has decided to move on, two years before her contract is due to expire.
Her rep said, “O’Dell appreciates NBC’s cooperation as she begins this next chapter in her career. Even though she will be leaving for a new opportunity, this decision is based totally on Nancy’s desire to take her career to the next level and is completely amicable. She will continue on with projects as a broadcast entertainment journalist.”
Speaking of next projects, Nancy will be hosting the NBC Tournament of Roses Parade live on New Year’s Day.
