Kelly Ripa showed off her latest tattoo this morning on “Live with Regis and Kelly”. The new ink is on her wrist and spells out CONSUELOS – the last name of her husband of 13 years, Mark Consuelos. Kelly also sports a rose and heart tattoo on her ankle.
She has spent the last nine months trying to get in for an appointment with Joseph Ari Aloi aka JK5 at “Saved Tattoo” in Brooklyn. She considers him “the best” and said it was worth the long wait.
Located in Williamsburg, “Saved Tattoo” is a big open plan warehouse with artists working away in the center of the room. The walls are adorned with an exhibition called Upstarts New York, showcasing artists from around the world. The artists at “Saved” are getting into textiles and prints and graphic design too – see video below.
Regis Philbin has actually had a little cosmetic work done too.. though you won’t hear him discuss it openly. We’ve also included some great Kelly ‘Then and Now’ pics here.
