Season 10 of Dancing with the Stars is set to begin on March 22, 2010 on ABC. After much anticipation, the eleven celebrity contestants have now been revealed and we must admit there are a few pleasant surprises.
We are particularly thrilled with the selection of former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, reality show mom and bikini rocking mother of eight Kate Gosselin, and ESPN Sports anchor Erin Andrews, who was embroiled in the peephole scandal.
Our sports celebs are Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, and Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek.
Screen and stage personalities include All My Children star Aiden Turner, The Bachelor reality star Jake Pavelka, comedian Niecy Nash, Beverly Hills 90210 actress Shannen Doherty and Pussy Cat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger.
The octogenarian in the group is 80-year-old astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon in 1969.
Rumored to be replacing Samantha Harris as co-host with Tom Bergeron is DWTS dancing alum and Season 5 runner-up Mel B. of Spice Girls fame.
