As promised, Sandra Bullock showed up to accept two Golden Raspberry awards at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater in L.A. on Saturday night. She entered the stage pulling a wagon filled with “All About Steve” DVD’s to give to the 700 members in attendance. She told them, “I said if I won I would show up and then I miraculously won.”

Bullock played a newspaper crossword puzzle writer in “All About Steve”. She brought along the script and offered to go through it line by so so the audience could tell her how she should have delivered each line. Then she nixed that idea and offered them a deal instead. “You guys can watch the movie and rethink your decision, and I’ll show up next year and we can go out for a drink afterward.”

She accepted a Razzie for Worst Film and a second that she and Bradley Cooper earned for Worst Screen Couple. Bullock took exception and said, “If you had seen the film, seen it with your eyes, it’s pretty much a film about a woman stalking a man. That doesn’t really set up the premise for a loving couple. So giving us the worst couple award is kind of, duh.”

Bullock has swept nearly every film award this season, and is up for an Academy Award in the Best Lead Actress category for her role in “The Blind Side”. She was the top earning Hollywood screen star of 2009.
