Dancing With The Stars kicked off Season 10 last night on ABC. Eleven celebrities and their pro partners hit the dance floor to perform the Cha Cha or the Viennese Waltz for the judges.
We saw tears from Shannon Doherty and Niecy Nash, who were both clearly overcome after their performances.
There will be no elimination this week but each couple did receive a score. The couple at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the evening turned out to be Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls and her talented pro partner Derek Hough.
Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani ended up near the bottom of the heap, with only Irish actor Aiden Turner and octogenarian astronaut Buzz Aldrin with lower scores. Gosselin was gorgeous but let her nerves get the best of her. Judge Len Goodman said, “It looked like someone was pushing a shopping cart.”
The buffest pro dancer appears to be the gorgeous Edyta Sliwinska – see her hot pics and performance video here.
The most interesting performance of the evening was Pamela Anderson‘s Cha Cha with Damian Whitewood. The 42-year-old former Baywatch babe tied for third place with ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Second spot went to Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya.
