Actress and former Playboy model Jaime Bergman got some shocking news when her husband David Boreanaz admitted that he had been unfaithful in their marriage.
The Bones star has told his wife that he had an extra-marital affair and that the woman was threatening to go to the media with the news, causing him to come clean. According to RadarOnline, the woman in question is someone we’ve heard about and read about previously — Rachel Uchitel of Tiger Woods’ fame.
RadarOnline doesn’t claim to have the original exclusive. That tidbit actually was reported, along with an incriminating photo of David and Rachel, back in October 2009 by another news source.
Boreanaz said, “I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with. She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.” We have since learned that Uchitel did not try to get any money from Boreanaz – see update note below.
The affair with Uchitel reportedly took place while the actor’s wife was pregnant with their last child. His mistress is represented by attorney Gloria Allred. That isn’t all. According to our news source, Allred is also representing another woman who was flinging with Boreanaz, thought her identity has not yet been disclosed.
The couple wed in 2001 and have a son Jaden who is 8 and a daughter Bardot, who will be a year old at the end of August. Bergman’s last film appearance was in the 2009 flick “Wiffler: The Ted Whitfield Story”.
If the secondary allegation is correct, we can expect Boreanaz to own up the the next fling shortly. If you’re thinking this is shades of Tiger Woods and Jesse James, then we’re all on the same page.
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Gloria Allred told them that Rachel Uchitel is NOT the woman who tried to get money out of Boreanaz. That said, she didn’t deny that her client Uchitel was the other alleged affair. Based upon the photo and details that were reported last fall, we’re not willing to say that Rachel is out of the picture just yet.
