On Week 8 of the hit ABC reality show Dancing With the Stars, only five couples remained. They each performed two dances on Monday night and those with the highest scores were Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek.
The other three celebrity competitors have been consistent in their inconsistency. Chad Ochocinco, who started out the competition near the bottom of the pack, has shown vast improvement with each passing week under the tutelage of his pro partner Cheryl Burke. Erin Andrews has been running hot and cold — sometimes showing brilliance and other times not so much. Niecy Nash deserves the prize for giving it her all each week with a smile on her face and an amusing soundbite to fit every situation.
In the bottom two and up for elimination were Niecy and Erin. Both have been in this position on multiple occasions. This week the hammer finally came down on Niecy Nash and her pro partner Louis van Amsdel. Last season Louis and Kelly Osbourne took third place.
Heading to the semi-finals next week will be Nicole & Derek, Evan & Anna, Erin & Maks, and Chad & Cheryl.
