Serving a one-year prison sentence on weapons charges, rapper Lil Wayne obviously thinks he is entitled to special privileges. In an early morning search, the guards found ear phones and an iPod charger on Wayne.

This did not go over well at Rikers Island. The New York Daily News is reporting that Lil Wayne will be charged with possession of “music contraband”.

Rickers officials are still searching for the MP3 player. No word on how Weezie was able to smuggle the goods into the joint.

The performer wrote a letter for Mother’s Day that he posted on his website, Weezythanxyou.com, thanking his mother and the mother’s of his children for all they do. Read more on that here.
