We must admit Chelsea Handler is a guilty pleasure for us — straight forward, funny and always edgy. Last night the late night talk show host was a guest on CNN’s Piers Morgan Show and her comments were decidedly candid.
During the hour long interview, Handler discussed romance, politics, the death of her brother, children, comedy, and she even named a few of her comedic heroes.
Handler, 36, had a four year relationship with her boss, Ted Harbert, and followed that up with a rebound romance with Animal Planet star Dave Salmoni. She teased about a fling with rapper 50 Cent … but many believe the pair were just having fun.
Chelsea has been seeing 54-year-old hotelier Andre Balazs for the past four months. She refused to be flip about their fling: “I have spent so much time exposing my personal life to everybody that I finally am in a situation where I feel like it’s disrespectful to another person.”
When Piers pushed her to reveal more, she said: “I’m not being coy. We all know what’s happening. I’ve learned to respect somebody else’s privacy. It’s not about me, because obviously I would like to make fun of him as much as possible, but he has kids, so I have to be nice.”
When asked if it was the real deal this time around, she acknowledged: “I have very strong feelings.”
