Done deal …

Chuck Lorre has been in active negotiations with Ashton Kutcher to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. According to TMZ, it is now a done deal.

Initially Lorre wanted Hugh Grant but they couldn’t reach an agreement. Negotiating were fairly straightforward with the out-of-work Kutcher. He has reportedly signed a contract that must seem like a golden ticket to stardom.

The actor won’t be a direct replacement for Charlie’s character. We’re being told that Chuck Lorre has crafted a storyline to introduce a new character.

Kutcher posed an interesting questions to his 6.7 million Twitter fans last night: “What’s the square root of 6.25?” The answer, for those who flunked Math, is 2.5 … as in Two and a Half Men.

Ashton and Demi Moore recently started the campaign ‘Real Men Don’t’, and a controversy erupted regarding where he plucked the video concept.
