Halle Berry watched in horror Thanksgiving morning when her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry engaged in a physical brawl with her fiance Olivier Martinez.
The Canadian model was returning 4-year-old Nahla to her mother’s home yesterday, when Martinez approached him in the driveway and reportedly told him, “We have to move on.”
The comment was a reference to a recent court ruling that has blocked Berry’s efforts to relocate with their daughter to Paris.
Punches were exchanged and when the dust settled Aubrey was rendered unconscious. Both men were taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for treatment. Gabriel, the most seriously injured, suffered a broken rib, facial contusions and a possible head injury.
He was later arrested and booked for misdemeanor battery with bail set at $20,000.
Olivier was treated for a hand and neck injury before returning to Halle’s home. Check out the images below showing Martinez heading into her residence, with his Cedars medical release documents that indicate he used the alias James Smith.
The actress was reportedly granted an emergency protective order that will require Aubry not to get closer than 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier, or his daughter Nahla.
Despite the fact that police didn’t cite Halle’s fiance for possibly instigating the melee in retaliation for Aubry’s recent court victory, we assume the Canadian will be filing charges of his own against Martinez.
In the meantime, it looks like Halle won’t have to share custody of her daughter–something she has been been seeking for a very long time.
Developing story…
