Paris Jackson celebrated her 15th birthday Wednesday by spending part of the day with her 54-year-old birth mother Debbie Rowe.
According to TMZ, “The two just hung out. They’ve gotten really tight.”
The birthday reunion of mother and daughter is reportedly not the first but clearly signals that Michael Jackson‘s child is ready to renew her relationship with the woman who signed her parental rights away when the little girl was three-years-old.
They divorced in 1999 and Debbie, a dermatology nurse, received a $13 million settlement that allowed her to buy a horse breeding ranch and live quietly in Palmdale, California.
After MJ’s death in 2009, Katherine Jackson reached an agreement with Rowe that allowed her to have visitation rights with Paris and Prince Michael … her biological children.
Meetings with Paris have reportedly been kept quiet because Debbie does not want to exploit the situation.
