We love us some Kid Rock! The entertainer has always spoken his mind, so when he was asked by Piers Morgan what he thought about the price of concert tickets — he didn’t hold back.

The popular musician was asked specifically what he thought about the prices fans were paying to see Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake on tour and he was quick to label it “highway robbery.”

Most artists charge from $70 to $1,500 per seat. At Kid Rock’s concert venues, all seats are $20 and you can pick up merchandise for a reasonable price as well.

Kid said, “It’s garbage. I don’t care who you are… I would consider both of them in a circle of friends in the business but I don’t agree with it.”

“It’s gotten out of hand. The price of concerts, the price of entertainment period. You know, whether it’s a sporting event, going to the movies, buying a soda there, whatever… I’ve always tried to keep prices at a level that I think is fair.”

“And I’ve always said I’m proud that I could walk around with my head held high and look everyone in the eye, knowing that I haven’t taken an un-honest dollar from a working man… I make a lot of money. I can take a pay cut.”
