YouTube is set to launch a first ever star-studded Comedy Week that will stream live from May 19-25 featuring Vince Vaughn, Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogan.
The worldwide event will begin at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET beginning May 19, 2013. YouTube VP of Marketing Danielle Tiedt acknowledges, “We’re the home of comedy for the next generation.”
She added, “If you like to laugh, come join us during Comedy Week as we celebrate the best of comedy with sketches, pranks, stand-up routines, sit-down routines, parodies, blunders, fails, live shows and unexpected collaborations in a way that only YouTube can.”
Other top-tier talent associated with the upcoming event: Rainn Wilson, Michael Cera, Tim and Eric, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Norm Macdonald, Craig Robinson, Rhett & Link, Beardyman, Eric Andre, Garfunel and Oates, Grace Helbig, Hannibal Buress, Jeff Ross, Jenny Slate, Justin Willman, Jerrod Carmichael, Nathan Fielder, Pete Holmes, Reggie Watts, Ryan Higa, Tig Notaro and The Lonely Island.
