Penelope Cruz and her actor husband Javier Bardem attended the London premiere screening of ‘The Counselor’ at Odeon West End on October 3.
The Academy Award-winning power couple star in the dramatic thriller. They last appeared together in the 2008 Woody Allen comedy ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona,’ a film that earned Penelope an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. He picked up his own Best Supporting Actor Oscar for ‘No Country For Old Men’ a year earlier.
During Thursday’s special screening the couple opted to pose separately on the blue carpet, perhaps so that the actress could properly show off her amazing post-baby weight loss in a full length body-hugging black gown with black and gold lace overlay.
The Spanish actress gave birth to daughter Luna Bardem in Madrid on July 22 — the same day Duchess Kate gave birth in London to Prince George.
Cruz, 39, and Bardem, 44, also have a son Leonardo, who is two-and-a-half.
‘The Counselor’ has a star-studded cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Rosie Perez and Brad Pitt. The film hits U.S. theaters on October 25.
