Along with her Big Bang Theory co-stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco held out on renewing her contract with Warner Bros., forcing CBS to delay the start of filming for season eight of the hit series.

It was a bold move, but when you play one of the lead roles on TV’s most popular sitcom, sometimes that sort of gambit pays off.

In the case of Parsons, Galecki, and Cuoco, it paid off to the tune of $90 million.

There’s been no official word from either side of the negotiations yet, but early reports indicate that the series’ stars will be paid $1 million for each of the show’s 72 remaining episodes.

In addition, their portion of TBBT’s profits with increase from .25% to a full 1% – a deal that could reap untold dividends for the young stars.

With that sort of cash, we suppose Kaley can adopt as many dogs as she wants.
