Martha Stewart wasn’t the only one with a brand new show debuting yesterday. Let’s not forget about supermodel-cum-reality show host Tyra Banks‘ “big” debut on UPN.

Granted, we only caught part of it, but that was plenty: we got a bigger dose of pink than you get checking out this website.

TyTy had her entire audience wearing pink T-shirts with “spiritual” song lyrics from India.Arie, who not only wrote and recorded The Tyra Banks Show’s theme song but showed up to perform live for the audience.

We haven’t checked in with Tyra since – gasp! – November 2004, yo, when we were pitting her against Caroline Rhea for the title of Reality Host Misfit. (With fat people vs. skinny people, who do you think is gonna win?)

But we missed her so much, especially with her “deep” commentary, that we decided to launch a regular Tyra feature: Posting the most unflattering screen grab of Tyra during her previous day’s talk show that we can find while fast-forwarding through her show on TiVo.

We’re going to kick it off this morning with doing what can only be described as the “hey girl” dance alongside India.Arie.
