Brooke Shields is enjoying her second act in Hollywood.
The actress is starring on Lipstick Jungle and in a handful of hilarious Volkswagon ads.
Shields also graces the cover of the latest issue of Shape and explains that her tall body has always made it a challenge to be comfortable in her own skin.
“I’m not petite,” said the six-foot tall actress. “I’ve never been very frail or small, so I’ve had to find ways to celebrate that. And it’s really my strength that I celebrate.”
As for what this beauty does to stay slim, Shields said:
“I spin and I do yoga, and that’s it … I can carry my kids and I can dance and my legs get me through Broadway shows. And to me, when they function for me, not just look a certain way, then I feel lucky.”
