Sarah Hyland has officially agreed to start her very own modern family…

.. with former The Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams!

It’s true, folks: The stars announced on Instagram last night, via a number of romantic photos from the proposal, that they’re engaged.

“That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff,” Hyland wrote as a caption on her social media account quoting the 1995 film It Takes Two.

Adams, a bartender who garnered attention for his role back in the day on Bachelor in Paradise, and Hyland have been an item since October of 2017.

The actress has portrayed Haley Dunphy on one of television’s most popular shows since its very first episode back in 2009.

She was also rather vocal about her crush on Adams even while he was competing for JoJo Fletcher‘s heart on season 12 of The Bachelorette in 2016.

In September of last year, Adams hinted that a proposal might be on the way, half-joking to Us Weekly about what his wedding to Hyland would look like.

“My family would be involved and they would ruin the entire experience because they’re crazy,” he said at the time, noting that the ceremony won’t be televised and adding:

“They would have too much fun at the wedding and that would be a whole other story. Chris Harrison would kick my brother out of a part and be like, ‘You’re too drunk, you need to leave.’

"Maybe [Chris would officiate]. He’s good at it. I think Chris just lives with camera crews following him around. I don’t think I would want that."

For her part, Hyland — who has been plagued by endometriosis and gout and who has said in the past that she contemplated suicide — has often gushed over Adams, referring to him this past fall as "The One."

These two have always seemed very cute and very smitten with each other.

Which may explain why Bachelor Nation is so gosh darn excited for the engaged stars.

Tweeted Ben Higgins:

"I’m sobbing. Dang I love these two. You should also. If you don’t love @Sarah_Hyland and @WellsAdams you aren’t someone I want to be friends with. Holy moly I’m jacked. Congrats! Also, @WellsAdams and @Sarah_Hyland I am your biggest fan."

Bachelor producer Elan Gale couldn’t hide her excitement, either, writing online:

"It has been impossible to not say anything so now that we are clear: WOOOOOOOOOO BABY YEAHH YOU DID IT BABYYYYY YEAAHHHHHHH."

"OMG IM CRYING ABOUT DAMN TIME," Danielle Maltby added.

Tish Cyrus even had thoughts about the marriage agreement, summing them up with one simply word: "FINALLLLYYYY!!!!!!!"
