During an appearance on The Breakfast Club radio show on Thursday, Nick Cannon ended all speculation.
About whether or not he would reconcile with Mariah Carey? Nope.
About whether or not a different former lover of his was pregnant with his impending third child.
And the answer is... YES!
“I’ve got a baby on the way,” Cannon told the hosts, referring to Bell as a “special young lady" and confirming a rumor that sprung up online last week.
The occasional artist and television personality added:
"God said be fruitful and multiply. I’m doing the Lord’s work … everybody get a baby! I’m passing them out."
Bell is a former Miss Arizona USA who Cannon would not even call an "ex." He said that only Carey is deserving of that description and "everybody else is people that I’ve known, loved and cared for."
He didn't mean that in a pejorative sense when it comes to Carey, just to be clear. He simply said that Carey was his "last" relationship partner and he clearly harbors no ill will toward past women with whom he's slept.
Bell, meanwhile, has not been hiding the fact that she's pregnant.
But she has not revealed the identity of her baby daddy, either.
"Children are a gift from God…’ Psalm 127:3," she wrote as a caption last week to the following photo.
Cannon is already the father of five-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with Carey.
Bell, a 28-year old Guamanian-American actress, is about six months along in her pregnancy, according to Us Weekly.
She and the America’s Got Talent host previously dated on and off following his December 2014 split from Carey.
There's actually been talk that Cannon and Carey might get back together, considering they are on very good terms and the latter is going through an ugly split from James Packer.
The artist and her billionaire fiance called off their engagement last month amidst charges of violence, infidelity and just really odd behavior all around.
They are now fighting over millions of dollars.
Just because Cannon is expecting a child with someone else doesn't mean he can't reconcile with Carey, of course.
But he played very coy on The Breakfast Club when asked about his ex-wife.
"Mariah's available again," one radio show host noted.
"Is she?" Cannon responded, playing it coy. "You know better than me. Is she?"
When the hosts went on to explain that Carey and Packer called off their engagement, Cannon acted shocked and said he doesn't try to keep up with their relationship.
"Did they? I thought they was working it out," he said. "I'm on a need-to-know basis. As long as my kids are good...I don't want to know none of that other stuff."
But is it honest?
Either way, it's likely best for Cannon to focus on one woman at a time right now.
Bell will need his attention and his affection, whether or not the two are officially together.
Because she is officially pregnant with his child!
