Tuesday night was not kind to a pair of Dancing with the Stars contestants.
Stop reading now if you wish to remain in the dark, but… Vanilla Ice and Babyface were eliminated from the competition.
Conversely, however, Tuesday night was VERY kind to Emma Slater… because Sasha Farber proposed!
Live on air!
After the professionals had danced to Bruno Mars’ smash hit, "Just The Way You Are," the show came out of a commercial break.
At that point, Tom Bergeron (who was obviously in on the proposal) told Farber he always felt as if dancer would make a good host and therefore handed him the microphone.
It didn’t take long for Slater to understand what was about to happen.
She could barely contain her emotion. And we couldn’t blame her!
“I love you so, so much," Farber told Slater, adding that he’s wanted to pop life’s biggest question for a long time.
He then got down on a knee and asked: "Will you marry me?"
And Slater totally rejected him on live television!
Just kidding. She said "Yes" and gave Farber a big kiss on the lips.
From there, right behind the happy couple, the big Dancing with the Stars screen lit up with the words “She Said YES.”
Next, all of the other contestants and professional dancers joined Farber and Slater on the stage to celebrate their on-air engagement. How sweet and perfect!
Last week, Slater was eliminated with her partner Rick Perry. Farber is still on the show with his partner Terra Jole.

Remember the guy who asked for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage and then also gave her a puppy?
She seemed almost happier about the puppy than the proposal…
There was also the Yankees fan who proposed at a game in the Bronx between New York and Boston toward the end of the season.
That idea nearly ended in disaster when he lost the ring for a few minutes:
But then he found it! And she also said yes! Hooray!
