Benedict Cumberbatch is like Radiohead (no, we don’t mean British and overrated):
You either get his appeal, or you don’t.
For those who the feel the ‘Batch love, the actor is worshipped as a god-like sex symbol – so it’s not hard to see why his surprise 2015 marriage to Sophie Turner was met with mixed responses from fans.

Fortunately, when the world learned that Cumberbatch and Hunter were expecting their first child, even the most bitter of Cumberbitches (their word, not ours!) set aside their jealousy to offer the couple congratulations.
Back in June of 2015, Hunter gave birth to Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch, or as we like to call him, C-Squared.
Now, it looks like little C to the 3 will have a younger sibling to help him clean up the reptilian layer of skin shed by their father every few weeks.
(Just kidding, Benny!)

Yes, sources are confirming today that Sophie Hunter is pregnant with the couple’s second child.
The news comes just as Cumberbatch begins a global media tour in promotion of his new Marvel film, Dr. Strange.
Sure, the character isn’t a household name on the level of some of the other superheroes in the MCU, but early buzz indicates that the film could prove to be a Guardians of the Galaxy-style sleeper hit.
Regardless of how the movie performs, however, we’re sure that Cumberbatch will be just fine.

These days, he’s that rarest of Hollywood commodities – an acclaimed Oscar nominee who also enjoys broad commercial appeal.
Cumberbatch drew raves for his performance in 2014’s The Imitation Game, and his beloved BBC series Sherlock remains wildly popular.
Naturally, fans have already been scrutinizing Sophie’s recent red carpet pics for hints of a bump.

Some say it’s there.
Frankly, we’re not seeing it.
Of course, we have no idea how far along Sophie is, and she’s not wearing the most revealing dress, so who knows?
Anyway, our congrats go out to the happy couple!
Here’s hoping they don’t encounter too many psychotic Benedict obsessives on their current press tour (though there are bound to be a few).
