Jimmy Fallon does not see what all the fuss is about.
He had a guest on The Tonight Show last week and he goofed around with said guest, just as he always does.

The thing is… that guest was Donald Trump.
And he’s running to be President of the United States.
And many believe he’s a racist, homophobic, sexist, Islamophobic lying buffoon who deserves close scrutiny from the press because he’s close to being the most powerful person on the planet.
Yet instead of asking Trump about a single issue, Fallon went ahead and… touched Trump’s hair.
That was the highlight of the interview; although, as you can see below, many thought it was the low point.
Should the public have expected Fallon to grill Trump on some serious issues? Of course not.
That’s not how Jimmy Fallon rolls.
But he could have broadly asked Trump about some of his past Tweets; or kept it general and asked if running for President has been everything he thought it would be.
Really, anything except being outright playful and making a monster look like a regular being would have sufficed.
Not that Fallon understands what all the controversy is over.
Asked by TMZ on Sunday night about the backlash he’s received since tussling Trump’s hair a few days ago, Fallon seemed shocked anyone would go there.
"Have you seen my show?" he asked.
He went on to say that he isn’t exactly known for asking hard-hitting questions.

“I’m never too hard on anyone," Fallon says in the video above. "We’ll have Hillary [Clinton] on tomorrow, and we’ll do something fun with her too.”
(NOTE: the Democratic nominee actually taped her segment on Friday, so we can confirm: Fallon mocked her recent pneumonia diagnosis by wearing a surgical mask during her appearance.)
Where do you stand on Fallon’s interview with Trump?
Is this much ado over nothing? Proper ado over something?
Are people being silly by wondering why Jimmy Fallon (of all people) was not edgier? Should Fallon have made an exception when it comes to this one person and this one election?
Or might we not be asking the most important question of all?
Which is this…
… why the heck is anyone watching The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the first place?!?
Are remote controls around the country broken?
Have these folks never heard of Jimmy Kimmel?
These are the questions we really want to know! And they are more hard-hitting than anything Fallon asked of Trump.
